The History of Gunpowder is madly creating in the studio and cooking up the wild upcoming album release that is The Epileptic Volume 2. After the critical acclaim of Volume 1 and the beauty of their headlining European Tour, they are at it again and planning for a bigger, longer, more absurd EU Tour; this is Vancity's chance to hear the set of this tour. Tell them what you think, throw tomatoes if you don't dig, throw love and tequila if you dig. Expect surprises as some of Vancouver's finest come and join them onstage - vocalists, pedal steel players, MORE SAXOPHONES. This line up will be bigger and badder than ever. Raincity
Raincity is a Vancouver-based Funk-Rock group making waves with their unique sound. Fronted by female leads on saxophone and vocals, their audacious performances are loaded with engaging interplay and explosive energy. The five members of Raincity combine their eclectic influences including Amy Winehouse, Moon Hooch, and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, creating a distinctive sound with infectious grooves, chameleon tones, and no regard for boundaries. Coming off their European Tour with a whole new catalogue of songs, The History's set and line up is in constant flux to keep pushing the envelope.
