The Projection Room
An intimate and playful room, perfect for private gatherings and friendly dance parties
The Projection Room is a 600 square foot room, located on the second floor of The Fox.
Housed in the former cinema’s projection booth, the room has been converted into an intimate cocktail bar. Wild patterns adorn the walls mixed with high end lighting de- signed by famed designer Boci.
The Projection Room is an ideal space for private parties where you want to maintain an intimate feeling. The room is located adjacent to the balcony which overlooks the cabaret area.
The Cabaret
A grand and flexible space ideal for large celebrations, intimate seated events and everything in between
The Cabaret is a 3500 square foot room, and the main event area of the Fox.
The design of the space was influenced by the original theatre environment and maintains a cinematic feeling. In addition to the main space, there is an additional balcony space which overlooks the room from the second floor.

I want to document the event. Do you know any good photographers?
Yes! We work with some of the city’s best party photographers and we can help book one of them for your event.
Do you offer catering?
We work with a number of caterers to offer a variety of catering options: buffet-style, hand-passed canapés, sit-down dinners, and more. If you want to bring in your own catering please let us know. We’ll work with their team to find the best solutions for prep and service areas.
Can I bring my own alcohol?
We are a liquor primary establishment. In the province of BC, every drop of alcohol sold in liquor primary venues must be purchased through the BCL. If you have a special request, our team is happy to help you order special product.
Can I have a special cocktail for my event?
Have an idea in mind for a cocktail? Our team is happy to help design a special drink menu for your event.
What about music?
We are happy to help set up your ipod or laptop in our sound system. If you are looking to take things to the next level, we can also recommend some of the best DJs and musicians in the city in any genre or style you’d like.
We like to party. Can we hang out after?
Every weekend The Fox throws big two-floor dance parties. If your event happens earlier in the evening, depending on the event, your guests may be able to stay and party with us. Please check with our event staff to confirm.
Can I decorate the space? What about lights?
We are open to working with you on any plans to decorate the space. Please let us know what you would like to do, and we will do our best to accommodate. We also have lots of lighting for the club space, if you require a lighting technician, one can be provided.
I need to project something. Can you help with that?
Yes! We have a giant movie screen in the cabaret, and a ceiling mounted projector. Most people will bring in their laptop or a DVD to hook into the system. Please let us know what works best for you.
