Face covering policy: Masks are mandatory at this event and can be provided on-site if needed. Please be respectful of everyone’s space and boundaries at the event.
Public transport: Close to bus routes #3, #8, #19 from Downtown, the #19 from Burnaby #7, or the #99.
Parking: Parking is available around the location. Accessibility parking will be available at the back of the site. Parking from 7pm–12am at 33 E 8th Ave (a 5 min walk from the Fox Cabaret) will cost approx $4.00 or EasyPark Lot 61 at 1 Kingsway Mount Pleasant (a 2 min walk from the Fox Cabaret) will cost approx $15.25. Food and Beverage: No food will be served at the event. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase at the bars. Plastic straws will be provided at the bar upon request.
Water: Free water is provided at the bar
ASL Interpretation: ASL Interpretation will be provided close to the stage for this event. It will be located on the right side of the stage in front of the provided courtesy seating
Payment options: The bar accepts debit/credit and cash. Coat check is cash only, any large bags or coats will be required to check.
Terrain and venue information: The main floor of the Fox Cabaret is wheelchair accessible including ramps into the main theatre room as well as a main floor accessible washroom on the ground floor in the hallway leading to the theater room (key for the accessible washroom will be provided upon request). Washrooms are gender-neutral. There are stairs to access the balcony, but this section will not be open to the general public at this event.
Tables and seating: A variety of seating will be available across the venue, with both lower (30x30 in) and higher (42x30 in) tables and chairs. Tables are circular high-top and low-top bistro style, seating options are chairs and booths. Low tables will be priority for folks with access needs. Courtesy seating will be provided close to the stage.
First Aid: There will be staff members trained in First Aid. All of the Vancouver Pride Society staff will have Naloxone training prior to the event.
Harm Reduction: The staff of Vancouver Pride Society will work alongside the onsite security and the volunteers to track and analyze any incidents at the event that may put any attendee, staff or performer at risk. Good Night Out Harm Reduction Volunteers will also be available on site.
Scent Reduction Policy: We ask performers and guests to refrain from wearing scented products; however, we cannot guarantee a completely scent-free space.
Sensory Sensitivities: Amplified sound will be used at this event for music and announcements. Earplugs will be provided upon request
