H-O-T-E-L’s allure is its upbeat, rhythmic pop/rock tunes that are dripping with 80’s-style synth, tasty guitar hooks and dreamy vocal melodies. 

Think Roosevelt, Foster the People, Parcels, War on Drugs and Bob Moses… spiraling off into its own danceable, melodic universe. 

Hailing from Vancouver, British Columbia, H-O-T-E-L is the collaborative music project of the song writing duo of vocalist/multi-instrumentalist/producer James Faulkner and guitarist Colin Holyk.

Formed in late 2019, the band has released two albums - Riviera and the dance remix Riviera Nights plus eight singles. The singles include the highly acclaimed Train to ’95, a song inspired by a train trip to the glamour and glitz of the French Riviera, L.A. Heaven, an ode to the glitter and gold of the Los Angeles rooftop party scene and Mind of Mine, about taking control of your mental narrative and realizing your dreams.
